Tami Bahr, LCSW, CSAC, ICS

Tami Bahr is a mental health and substance abuse counselor.

Initially, she wanted to work with homeless individuals and very quickly became aware of the pervasiveness of mental health and substance use in this particular population.  As her knowledge base increased, her interests expanded to include all individuals experiencing mental health or substance use issues. Tami’s life has been affected by addiction in many ways. Personally, she struggled with substances in college and has seen the effects on friends and family.

Tami has enjoyed the many community events hosted by the Recovery Foundation while on the board. JamFest was particularly enjoyable as it was wonderful to see people come together to celebrate recovery!

Tami has been greatly influenced by the people she works with on a daily basis. They have taught her that life is unpredictable and it is important to live to your full potential every day.

Tami herself has had a positive impact on many young people seeking recovery.
