Dennis Skogen is a Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin and as a Mechanical Engineer has consulted in the field of Accident Reconstruction since 1970. In his experience of reconstructing thousands of accidents, the most common factor which causes or contributes to many motor vehicle accidents is alcohol abuse.

As a founding Member of the Recovery Foundation, he has assisted in formulating the goals of the Recovery Foundation and in implementing  programs for assisting scholarship applicants during their recovery efforts. Dennis has been rewarded by seeing Recovery Foundation event participants enjoying the fruits of recovery.  He has been a voluntary advisor to the Wisconsin Governor’s office and the City of Madison concerning the improvement of safety on Wisconsin roadways.
